Hello everyone. My name is Heather Smith and welcome to my blog. I currently live in Royal Oak, MI with my husband and our crazy dog Porter. We moved into our house in the summer of 2009, and I have been trying to make the house feel like home ever since. This blog is all about home design, DIY and whatever else comes my way.When my husband and I purchased our first home I become obsessed with home decorating. Being that I am a first time homeowner, decorating is a new experience for me. After lots of home décor and DIY research I now have a ton of ideas and plans for my house. I’m not sure where to start, but I am excited to share my journey with you.
For those dog lovers out there, let me introduce you to my dog Porter. He is a 2 ½ year old German shorthaired pointer. Isn’t he cute!
